Get Paid to Answer Questions, on Your Own Terms
You already answer questions every week. FastPass lets the people asking pay for a real answer, at a price you choose, without joining a marketplace or competing for tickets.
Your audience · Your price · Your choice
Not another Q&A site
You set the price
Q&A marketplaces fix the rate or make you bid against other answerers. On FastPass the price per question is yours to decide and change.
Questions from your people
No queue of random tickets. Questions come from people who found you through your work, your profile or a friend, and asked for you by name.
You pick what to answer
Nobody assigns you work. If a question is not for you, let the deadline expire and the sender gets their money back.
How paid questions work
Someone asks
They open your FastPass page, write their question and choose how soon they need an answer: 24, 48 or 72 hours.
The fee is held
They pay your price by card. FastPass keeps the money in escrow and sends the question to your email.
You answer, or pass
Reply in time and 75% is released to you. Let it expire and the full amount goes back to the sender automatically.
The questions you already answer are worth something
Think about the last ten questions people sent you. Which tool should I use? Is this contract normal? How did you get your first client? Would you look at my portfolio? Each one draws on years of experience, and each one probably took you longer to answer than the person asking imagined.
Most people who look for ways to get paid to answer questions online end up on large Q&A platforms. Those can work, but you are answering strangers in a queue, at rates you do not control, with your name lost in a long list of other answerers. The value you built with your own audience does not carry over.
FastPass works the other way round. Your link lives where people already find you: your website, your social bio, your newsletter footer, your email signature. When someone wants your answer specifically, they pay your price, and the question arrives in your inbox with the deadline they chose.
Because the payment is held in escrow until you reply, nobody pays for silence. That makes it easier to set a fair price without feeling guilty about it. And because FastPass accepts up to 5 paid questions per day for each person by default, a sudden burst of interest never becomes a weekend of catching up.
Free questions do not disappear, and they do not have to. You can still answer friends and quick replies for nothing. FastPass simply gives you a clear, polite answer to the requests that deserve more than a two line reply.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Q&A marketplaces?
On a marketplace the platform sets the price, sends you questions from strangers and decides who gets them. On FastPass the questions come from people who already know you, you set your own price, and you decide which ones to answer.
Do I need to be a certified expert?
No. If people regularly ask you something and value your answer, that is enough. Designers, engineers, athletes, recruiters, parents who have been through a tricky school process: anyone with useful experience can set a price.
How much should I charge per question?
Start with what a thoughtful answer costs you in time, then adjust. You can change your price at any moment and the new rate applies to the next question. Our consultation pricing guide walks through the maths.
What do I earn on each answer?
You keep 75% of the price by default, paid out to your bank through Stripe once you have replied. Refer three creators who join FastPass and your share rises to 85%.
What if a question is outside my area?
Simply do not answer it. When the reply window of 24, 48 or 72 hours ends, the sender is refunded in full without you lifting a finger.
